Last month, we were delighted to be joined by over 100 IPS users from across the UK at the ICAEW in London for the 32nd annual IPS User Group.
The event is designed to give both IPS SQL and IPS Cloud users the opportunity to network with peers, develop your knowledge of IPS, and provide feedback on the platform.
Welcome and Introduction
Attendees gathered in The Great Hall, as User Group Chairman, Ted Wetton of Gibson Booth Business Solutions & Insolvency, took to the stage to deliver the opening speech, welcoming everyone to the event.
Representing Turnkey, Deborah Baxter, Chief Operating Officer, and Kenny Doole, Commercial Director, provided an overview of what Turnkey have been up to in the last 12 months, including investments we’ve made, the achievements we’ve had, global plans, the journey to IPS Cloud, and an honest account of challenges we’ve faced as a business, addressing the recent price increases along the way, which was much appreciated by the audience.
IPS Cloud Demo and Onboarding
Following the introductory presentations, Darren White, Global Head of Product, gave a live demonstration of IPS Cloud, providing a great opportunity for members of the audience not yet on the platform to get a glimpse of the user interface, as well as some of the features that IPS Cloud has to offer.
Guest Speakers
At this year’s event, we were pleased to be joined by guest speakers from Companies House, Virtual Cabinet, Postworks, and Tquila Automation, who gave insightful presentations, along with some audience participation from Postworks – a big thank you to everyone who joined in!
Breakout Sessions
Participants were split into groups based on their preferences submitted prior to the event. We received some great feedback from our three breakout sessions, covering: Cashiering, Case Administration & Creditor Portal, and Future Design Plans for IPS Cloud, which was then presented to all of the groups during a feedback session in The Great Hall.
Training and Adoption Strategy
After the break, Michelle Mills, Head of Training and Adoption, took to the stage to present Turnkey’s new training and adoption strategy and the roadmap to support IPS users as they develop their knowledge of the platform. This offering was well received by the audience to augment the overall experience for IPS users.
Hints and Tips
The final session of the day was the much anticipated Hints & Tips for both IPS SQL and IPS Cloud, delivered by Darren White. This session also included answers to a number of questions put forward by attendees prior to the event.
We had a great time meeting our IPS users face-to-face at the IPS User Group and look forward to seeing you again next year!
