We are seeking a talented Head of Marketing to lead our marketing strategy, team and brand during a 12 month maternity cover.
Overview
We are now seeking a talented Head of Marketing to lead our marketing strategy, team and brand during a 12 month maternity cover. This role would be suitable for an existing Head of Marketing looking to take on a new challenge or an experienced Marketing Manager looking to gain more experience in a Senior Marketing position.
As Interim Head of Marketing, you will take ownership of delivering our existing marketing plan while shaping new strategies that support Turnkey’s growth objectives - including cloud migration to our Corporate Insolvency Platform, promoting our new Personal Insolvency platform, driving international expansion, and new product launches.
You will lead a team of two Senior Marketing Executives (Product & Customer Marketing Exec and Demand Generation & Growth Exec), oversee digital and traditional channels, manage the marketing budget, and act as a key partner to the Commercial Director, Sales, Product, UX/UI, Training, and wider business stakeholders.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will balance strategic thinking with effective delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with Turnkey’s growth objectives.
• Managing the marketing budget across campaigns, events and both traditional and digital channels.
• Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive qualified pipeline and product adoption across channels including content, email, SEO, webinars, and social.
• Identify and analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape and inform the commercial director to help drive the business strategy.
• Develop and implement marketing plans to support Turnkey’s business objectives across our growth levers of: SQL to cloud, PI, international growth and new products.
• Team Management: Lead and coach the marketing team, empowering staff delegating tasks and ensuring individual performance goals are both set and met.
• Own the Turnkey brand and ensure consistency across all marketing materials and channels.
• Collaborate with sales, products, and design teams to align marketing efforts with company goals.
• Monitor campaign effectiveness using KPIs, analytics, and reporting tools.
• Own KPI reporting globally for the marketing department
• Improve customer engagement through digital marketing, events, and promotional activities.
• Work with external agencies, partners, and stakeholders.
• Own and optimise Turnkey's MarTech stack
• Any other duties as required by the Commercial Director.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Essential
• Excellent leadership, communication, organisation and project management skills.
• Previous experience in reporting to Senior Leadership.
• Previous experience in a marketing leadership role within a similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and systems.
• Demonstrable experience with ABM campaigns.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid understanding of KPI reporting to Senior Leadership
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns to both existing clients and new business.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Desirable
• Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is desirable.
• Experience within the SaaS/Software sector
• Experience generating leads in global markets
• GTM experience in new regions
