We are looking for a DevOps Lead to manage a small team of DevOps Engineers, enabling rapid, reliable, and secure delivery of technology services through modern engineering practices. 

Responsibilities

DevOps Leadership: 

·      Drive modern engineering practices 

·      Promote a continuous improvement culture 

·      Lead and develop the DevOp team 

Platform & Automation: 

·      Own CI/CD pipelines 

·      Implement infrastructure as code 

·      Manage DevOps tooling 

Cloud & Infrastructure: 

·      Contribute to cloud strategy 

·      Ensure scalable and secure environments 

·      Collaborate with others to manage cloud spend 

 Security & Compliance: 

·      Ensure secure configuration of environments 

·      Assist in managing and responding to security audits/pen-tests 

Performance & Monitoring: 

·      Own and manage observability of production environments 

·      Manage and respond to alerts 

Stakeholder Management: 

·      Collaborate across engineering, QA and product 

·      Align with business priorities 

Budget & Vendor Management: 

·      Manage budgets and vendors

Key Skills & Experience 

·       5+ years' experience in leading and building DevOps/SRE teams  

·       5+ years' experience with Microsoft Azure, DevOps and related technologies  

·       8+years CI/CD and automation experience (Azure DevOps, Gitlab preferred) 

·       8+ years containerization and PAAS experience (Azure App Services preferred) 

·       Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) 

·       Strong experience of scripting languages (Powershell, Python, etc.) 

·       Strong communication and stakeholder management 

Preferred Skills and Experience 

 ·       Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Swarm, etc) 

·       Experience managing and configuring Datadog

 ·       Deployment frequency 

·       Mean time to recovery 

·       System uptime 

·       Cost optimisation
