About the Role
This role owns the disciplined conversion of market opportunity into scalable revenue. It combines product strategy, commercial rigor, customer validation and delivery leadership to ensure Turnkey builds and launches new products and features that solve real customer problems, strengthen market position and create material ARR growth.
New Product Development is a critical growth lever in the Turnkey 5-year Value Creation plan.
Understanding, driving and taking overall accountability for new revenue growth is a fundamental part of this role.
Working closely with the global head of product, CFO, and Commercial Director, this is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role to lead the identification, validation, and launch of new products and features that drive growth.
You will work at the intersection of product, technology, and commercial strategy, turning market opportunities into successful new offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Opportunity Identification
· Define and lead the NPD strategy aligned to company growth goals
· Identify new product opportunities through market research and customer insight
· Build business cases and prioritise initiatives based on commercial impact. Define and model the details of each product including ROI(Return on Investment) calculators for clients and collateral outlining key business benefits
· Maintain a prioritised NPD portfolio with clear stage gates, investment cases, delivery assumptions and revenue outcomes
· Quantify market size, buyer need, competitive differentiation and likely adoption to support investment decisions
Product Development & Delivery
· Lead the end-to-end NPD lifecycle from ideation to launch
· Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, and GTM teams
· Ensure rapid experimentation using MVP approaches
· Establish clear success criteria, delivery milestones, risks, dependencies and post-launch review points for each initiative
· Ensure product decisions are evidence-based, balancing speed to market with technical feasibility, quality and commercial value
Customer & Market Insight
· Understand customer needs and validate ideas through testing
· Run structured discovery with clients, prospects and internal stakeholders to test demand, willingness to pay and implementation fit
· Translate customer insight into product requirements, value propositions and adoption plans
Commercialisation & Go-To-Market
· Define pricing, positioning, and support product launches
· Work with Commercial, Marketing and Customer Success to define launch plans, sales enablement, packaging and adoption strategy
· Track commercial performance after launch, including pipeline, conversion, revenue contribution and customer usage
AI & Innovation
· Identify opportunities to embed AI and drive innovation
· Evaluate where AI can create differentiated customer value, operational efficiency or improved user experience in new offerings
· Ensure innovation activity is commercially grounded, with clear hypotheses, measurable outcomes and learning captured for future investment decisions
Leadership & Collaboration
· Lead cross-functional teams and foster innovation culture
· Drive pace, accountability and alignment across Product, Engineering, Commercial, Finance and Operations
· Build strong governance and reporting so investment decisions, delivery progress and launch outcomes are visible and measurable
Key Skills & Experience
· Experience in product development or NPD roles within SaaS
· Proven track record of launching successful products
· Strong commercial and analytical skills
· Experience in scaling or mid-sized businesses
· Knowledge of Agile, Lean and MVP methodologies
· Strong capability in business casing, pricing, financial modelling and translating product investment into revenue outcomes
· Ability to work cross-functionally and influence senior stakeholders across product, technology, finance and commercial team
