The Role:

We are looking to recruit a Programme Management Office (PMO) Analyst to support a newly formed Programme Management Office within Turnkey. Turnkey are in the midst of a major transformation as they move to a new SaaS product, IPS Cloud. This transformation is driving change internally in terms of organising projects, deliverables and ensuring risk is managed as we embrace a more structured approach to driving our overall project lifecycle.

Specifically, the role will be focused on the following:

  • Shape and help drive the overall cultural change to support the implementation of a PMO function and all the processes forming part of its overall structure
  • Drive the implementation of Wrike, the chosen project management platform supporting teams and management in its use and ongoing evolution
  • Implement governance standards across the portfolio, including tracking, monitoring and updating the status of programme deliverables
  • Manage and develop Post Project Review sessions to identify key areas of improvement to be captured into the Lessons Learnt programme
  • Manage the programme level risks and issues register
  • Build up a repository of project templates both technical and managerial to support the Project Managers
  • Provide effective management support to the project management team and project leads within each department
  • Develop processes around deliverables tracked against time and cost
  • Help shape resource utilisation and drive effective ways of monitoring and reporting
  • Monitor and report on progress of projects to the Project Board and all stakeholders
  • Co-ordinate quality activities to meet quality objectives. Managing project risks, issues and change control, communicating the impact to the project
  • Implement the change control process across all projects and portfolios

Key skills required:

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent experience
  • A project management qualification or certification preferable
  • Experience of programme co-ordination/administration
  • Experience of managing small projects, or exposure to the end to end project lifecycle, or managing substantial parts of the project lifecycle
  • Experience of working within a structured project management framework
  • Knowledge of project management tools and techniques
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft packages, including Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Understanding of the importance for detail and organisation
  • Skill at managing stakeholder groups and balancing diplomacy and tact with assertiveness
  • Very good prioritisation skills to balance key priorities
  • A strong customer centric approach
